5,000 seems like such a big number, but I bet you found it as easy as pulling teeth!

Well, I guess you can either look at it as a milestone or as "What the heck have I been doing with my life?!" Let's see, 5,000 posts at a likely average of at least 25 words per post equals 125,000 words, about the size of a 400 page novel (and no income to show for it).

But then the author and his memorable words are probably read more here than that typical novel.
