Don't even get me started on the pretentious suffices, like "James Earl Jones XIV" like they're royalty. Your family name is JONES, not JONES XIV. Gak.

I would assume you need them to put their legal name on the application, and it would definitely need to be on their FAFSA, which I assume you need to match their enrollment forms. If that is their name, (which the vast majority are not going to put a number after their name if it's not), how is filling out the paperwork correctly pretentious?
