Way OT: Home Theater Question

Regarding home-theater-in-a-box... I like the idea however make sure that if you get one, that it's got some inputs.

So does something like this have sufficient inputs? If not, what number is good?

Onkyo (5.1):http://www.onkyousa.com/model.cfm?m=...ss=Systems&p=i

I have been following because our new house will be pre-wired for 5.1 surround and we will be going the HTIAB route to start - we don't watch enough right now to justify a higher initial cost at this time - more important things needed in the new place, etc.

I think only you can decide if it has enough inputs. It decides on what all you are ultimately wanting to hook up to it. :confused3 Which one is it? (The link wasn't working.) If it's the S300 or S400, it has 6 inputs and 2 outputs. It's also the one I am leaning towards, unless I hear of something else that makes me rethink it.

What kind of inputs do you need? Specifically, try to think of how many Component and HDMI you'll want. These receivers are ususally generous with Composite inputs anyways.

Well, right now we only have a Wii, DVD player, cable box, and a non-HD TV (though we do intend to upgrade to HD in the next year or two when cash allows - I don't finance those sorts of things)...
