Wawa's in LA

Does the west coast have Wawa's? Specifically in the LA area or is there some other sort of convenience store chain?

A friend of ours who lives right outside of LA says they have no Wawa's. In fact, while he was here he just couldn't get over "Wawa". The name just killed him--lauged over it for 2 weeks.

Wawa is also the name of a town in Northern Ontario. The word means Wild Goose or Land of the Big Goose and they have a huge statue of a Canada Goose that you pass as you drive along the Trans Canada Highway.

I bet they have 7-11's that chain is very national..

I laughed to when I first moved to the Philly and heard the name Wawa..couldn't figure out what type of store it was...
