Good Morning to all. This may be a bit premature since we are not going back until June of 2021 but the girls have requested the deluxe meal plan so that they may have more signature dining but even with signature restaurants I am looking for a lot of places. We will be staying at the Poly and I am looking for places to try on the monorail and several people have mentioned the Wave. I am trying to get a feel for where to schedule 2 to 3 breakfasts. Most of the people going will not get up for breakfast so its just me and the girls.

The Wave is fantastic! We really enjoy it for any meal. You have a ton of breakfast options on the monorail - 'Ohana, Kona, GF Cafe, 1900 Park Fare, The Wave and Chef Mickey's. Our favorites on that list are The Wave, GF Cafe and 1900.

The Wave is great for a smaller, quiet breakfast buffet. We loved it!

On a different note, the Deluxe Plan is a ton of food and takes a lot of time away from the parks. Any reason not to just pay out of pocket in case you get tired of all the food. The Plan is not intended to save money. Just a thought.

Well I use the plan because I just like to pay for everything up front and we don't as a rule east at CS.

Thanks I have already penned in Ohana and Kona. Making these 2 girls happy is a ton of work.

Not sure if it will happen, but it has been rumored that the Wave will become an Incredibles Steak House.
I heard about this. So disappointing. But it was inevitable. The food is really good and frankly a hidden gem. I knew it was a matter of time before its snapped up and turned into a character meal.

I tend to agree with you about this but getting the girls to character meals is easier. For our next trip I have 4 Signature picked out but 7 character meals.

I did not like our dinner there at all. Service was terrible, food was terrible, will not go back. But breakfast there was very nice and I enjoyed it.

Your girls sound like me! My wish list for our next trip is a lot of character meals and a lot of signature meals

Have not enjoyed it for breakfast OR dinner. Very Hilton-restaurant-esque. In looks and in taste. Our dinner tasted like Chef Boyardee and the breakfast items were bland and boring.

It doesn't help that the 10 year old researches almost as much as I do and she knows have trouble saying No.

GF Cafe is excellent. Their pancakes and french toast are to die for! My husband loves the eggs benedict flight as well. The atmosphere is bright and airy and some of the tables look out onto the verandah and flowers.

We left be the wave for breakfast, but not dinner. I would definitely include it in your breakfast plans. Have a great trip!
