Wave or Kona for dinner

DH & I have one more restaurant to choose for our Aug trip w/our DDs. Its a MK night and have narrowed it down to the Wave or Kona. We really like Kona and have been there almost every trip in the past. The Wave we have never tried. So, we're trying to decide if we should go to something we know we enjoy or try a new restaurant. If you've been to both, which do you like better? Thanks!

This is similar situation to our last trip. We've been to Kona a few times and really like it but thought we'd try a different place. Chose the Wave and it was very good. Personally, I liked Kona a little better but I'm pretty sure my DW liked the Wave better. Either choice is a good choice and I would try something different if I were you.

If you can't do both than try the Wave. You already know what Kona is like. Try something new. We have eaten at Kona several times and enjoy it but last trip we tried the Wave. It was very nice and we will go back. We like to try something new each trip. (Of course that can make it very hard to get the list of restaurants down to fit the length of our trip.)

Thanks for the input. I think we are leaning to try something new as of now and maybe go to the Wave.

We really enjoyed the Wave. The wine list is different from the usual at Disney, and we thought the menu was very creative.
I like Kona too. But in your shoes, I'd probably give the Wave a wave.

My vote was for The Wave.

I wpwould chose Th Wave as I enjoyed my meal there when we eat there in September. On our trip this month we decided to go back to Kona instead of the Wave and regretted the decision. Anna got the pork again which she had loved and it wasnt the same as before, being of a lower quality and tough to chew. I got the ribeye, which was ok, nothing to write home about.

After that experience we will probably go to the Wave next time round!

If you are on the dining plan, The Wave is the right choice. The food is great, but over priced.
