We are a mostly character meal eating family, with a few signatures/dinner shows/ethnic eateries thrown in for variety. We have room for a *new* breakfast in our schedule, or we can snack for breakfast and squeeze this in for lunch (but most likely sticking with bkfast). After reading here about the new buffet offerings at the Wave, I booked that, thinking that sweet potato pancakes sound great. DH, unfortunately, does not agree 100%. He is more interested in the Grand Floridian Cafe (or perhaps something else we have not yet tried). We will have DD8 with us, and already have breakfasts at Ohana, Park Fare, Tusker House, Akerhaus, Crystal Palace, Cape May, and CM booked. We don't want more of the same character buffet food (without the characters), and would love something that would appeal to our palates. Would you go with the Wave or GF, or am I missing something wonderful? I can convince DH if the Wave is the unanimous recommendation...:rolleyes1

1) Two different experiences.
. . . GFC is a restaurant
. . . Wave is a buffet
2) Won't be disappoited at either.

I would choose GF cafe, mainly because we enjoy sit down breakfasts more. It seems you have a few buffet's already, so I'd go with the sit down. Plus, I think it's really pretty in there.

Hi frannn,
My vote is for GF Cafe. The food and service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. As others have mentioned the two are different experiences. I don't think you can go wrong either way. Have a great trip. :thumbsup2
