Turkey legs, the grossest thing ever...way too salty and they taste like ham
Dole Whips, too sweet and nauseating
Lefse from Norway, BLECH!!!
The chocolate candy from England, I think it is Cadbury? I heard so much about it on the Dis that DH and I bought a few candy bars to eat on the car ride home, they were so gross....
I know this is unpopular on this board but I hated the School Bread from Norway. I may have just gotten a bad one but it was not good. I was bringing it back to the hotel for a late night snack and snuck a few bites on the monorail. It went in the first garbage can I saw!
That's because it's not milk chocolate - it's a chocolate coating (yes, it is substantially cheaper than chocolate, has a tougher consistency, melts at a higher temperature and is a lot less tempermental than "real" chocolate). Pretty standard for most chocolate dipped treats.
One of the reasons you may not have like the Cadbury chocolate (sorry, I'm speaking to the other poster now, not the one I quoted) is because you are used to american chocolate which has a higher sugar content as compared to the british chocolate which has a higher fat content (which is why American chocolate doesn't melt as fast as British chocolate).
My least favourite (and ironically my Dad's favourite) was the sundae's at Mrs. Potts in the MK. I don't know what they are made from, but I would almost swear that it wasn't real ice cream.
Ok - don't flame me, but those so-called Egg Rolls in China are disgusting!! They are nothing like the yummy take out egg rolls we have here - total disappointment!
It's just the 'body' of the turkey if you will, where all the white meat is - no legs or anything like that on it...
This is what we get for Christmas now too, must be an UK thing
I can't believe a PP doesn't like Cadbury's However, I have heard that it's not really readily available in the USA - I'm looking forward to tasting the US candy
