Just wanted to post about one of the highlights of our recent trip. We booked two waterskiing trips (one hour each) with Sammy Duvall's at the CR. Our DS 13 loved it and it made for great pictures of him waterskiing in Bay Lake with the Contemporary and castle in the background (and Space Mountain, as well) We live in MI and there is a lull between snow skiing and the water being warm enough to water ski, so it was fun for DS 13 to be able to water ski in April.
On past trips, he had rented water mice but wanted to try something different this time. It was around $140 per trip and he got to ski for about half an hour and then he and DS 9 went tubing. The first trip, the went together on one tube; on the second trip, they used two tubes and had a blast! Even DH got to ski on the second trip and went tubing, as well. They would have done this every day if I had let them. They weren't busy, so we were able to book the second trip the day before; he said they will get busy again in May. They do have walk-up waterskiing trips of 1/2 an hour each day. They said they also now do the waterskiing trip at the CBR, as well.
