Watershoes at the waterparks?

Can you ride all the waterslides with watershoes on your feet? Or do they make you take them off while going down the slides?

When we were at the water parks in 2002 you could wear your water socks on the rides.

I would highly recommend something to protect your feet, especially for children. The concrete gets extreme hot! Its also great to have the water shoes on when you have to go to the bathroom.....don't like walking in the restrooms barefooted

I totally agree! Watershoes are a must on the hot concrete and sand!

The only rides you will need to take them off on and hold onto them are the body slides (IE Summit Plumit)

Definitely have them! My DH got the bottom of his foot cut open at TL in the shark reef. He snorkled across and got to the rockly ledge and something sliced about a 3 inch gash in the bottom of his foot. We had to hobble across the park to the first aide station where the nurse had to clean it out and bandage it. That ended our day at the water parks and learned a valuable lesson. NEVER GO WITHOUT THEM! CMs were very nice though and we got two free tickets to come back anytime (although I have no idea where I put them now). We both have them every time we go now and have never been told we couldn't wear them on a slide. Wal-mart usually has a really good section for really cheap.

They are nice but not a must. We go often with our pass and dont use them. But they are nice. But then we live in Florida and yes its hot on the feet but maybe our feet are just use to it.

Hi,

Can the Teva type shoes (water sandals) be used at the water parks or do they have to be the aquasock type? We're taking our water sandals for Kali, Splash,etc. and we're hoping they can double as our TL shoes too.
