Waterproof shoe covers vs. sandals when it rains

Just be aware that in MK during a heavy rain, there is ankle deep standing water in many areas. We experienced this during our stormed-out Christmas Party 12/17/19. Shoe covers would not have helped us. But I'm sure they would be useful in a light rain.

It seems like a lot to bring extra sandals or shoe covers but it may be worth it, depending on the person. I can't stand having wet feet, so it's either sandals and dealing with it or maybe trying some of those waterproof socks. Best of luck to you!
