Waterproof kttw holder

I have read in the past that the DCL sells these plastic waterproof containers that hang around your neck that fit credit cards, kttw card ect... Do they still sell them on the Ship? I am hoping to have them for snorkeling, either in St. thomas or St. Maarten or Castaway Cay.

They do sell these in the gift shops on the ship. There are two sizes available. The smaller would hold your KTTW card, a couple of credit cards and a few bills - it's kind of thin. The larger one would hold all of that and a deck of cards (I think). I believe the smaller one was about $6.

Be careful about putting all the cards together. I think that they demagnitize if stored together. Can someone confirm this?

Yes, I can confirm you can scramble your KTTW card if you put it the same way with a regular charge card's magnetic strip, which has a much stronger magnetic field.

If you put more than one card in the same place(waterproof holders, etc..), make sure the strips are not on the same edge of the cards. Doesn't matter if the strips are on the same 'face' of the card, just at the same edge.

I use passporters when I am at the airport. Keep my license, flyer card, flight itinerary, tickets & boarding pass around my neck; in the craze of things it keeps everything handy. But it is not waterproof. I use a waterproof container that I bought at castaway cay on the cruise & at water parks for my room card/credit card.

Perhaps we'll cross paths on the cruise 9/8. Happy Sailing! I can not wait!
