Okay, our regular camera just gave out, possibly after having been splashed with saltwater/sand on our vacation...
We are looking for a smaller waterproof camera, that will also be good as our regular use camera. In fact, since it does not have a rugged, non-slip grip design, this camera may be better every-day than it would in the water. I can hardly imagine actually handling this IN the water, as it is a small, slick, design.
*Good sensor and image stabilization
*5x optical with what is supposed to be good digital zoom on top of that, if needed
*Good lower light photos for the type of hardware on this camera, (saw one good example of this posted in the one detailed review that has come out)
I am liking what I am seeing with the new CyberShot TX-30. But, I really do not know much about these cameras!
If you camera/photo experts here were buying a camera to be used like I am expecting, which one would you buy?
Thanks!
