In 1998 we went with our kids ages back then 17 and 14. They both loved Blizzard Beach. My husband and I didnt because we dont ride too many slides and the water pool is bobbing waves (We like the big waves better) What we did is go to Typhoon Lagoon one morning, then the next water park morning we went to Blizzard Beach. Since the kids loved Blizzard Beach we let them go again while my husband and I moved the stuff to a new hotel (We had to change to an offsite for our last night) The hint with Blizzard beach is go early. SInce most of the park is slides the capacity is slower. Earlier there are way less lines than later in the day.
What hubby and I loved about Typhoon Lagoon best is the big body surfing type waves, he loved the shark swim thing, and they do have some slides so we were able to do it a couple times. Both parks have the lazy river which is my very favorite thing to do.
About the Wet and Wild: We went to Florida for 2 weeks in 1998 and the first week we did all non disney stuff including Wet and Wild. We went 5 times because we loves that park. They have a knee ski, a surf board that you have to stay on like a bucking bronko, a swing that is propelled by fire hydrants (Two people sit back to back and alternate openign thier firehydrant sprayer) Their lazy river is much deeper making it mroe fun to float in with out a tube, they have fantastic slides and several family ones. There is a big wave pool and so much more. If you can get there it beats any Disney Water park.
