We are going to IOA in July. Is there a new waterpark nearby? We don't want to rent a car! Can't wait to go!:D

Well it's not exactly new, but there's a Wet 'N Wild near IOA. Are you staying onsite? I believe it's on I-Drive & is within walking distance from some I-Drive hotels (it's across the street from the Sheraton Studio City where we're staying for part of our trip). If you're staying onsite, perhaps some other informed poster can let you know if you can walk to it, since I've never been to IOA/US. :D

As far as there being a new water park...hmmm, I haven't seen anything on the boards about it to date.....maybe a local DIS'er can help you out on that one.

Wet n Wild is within walking disctance if you are staying onsite or relatively nearby. As for new... there are no new parks perse, the newest one will be when Cypress Gardens opens their waterpark.

There is also a couertsy bus for on site guests to get to WnW and back at certain times of day:jester:

We stayed on-site at the HRH - and the pool is lovely (has a curly slide) underwater music, sandy area, cabannas, beach bar serving food and drinks poolside - wonderful cocktails - the kids are happy - you are happy - we actually found we didn't need to do a water park. You can also visit the pools at the other onsite hotels too. At IOA you have the fun water rides - like JPRA, Popeyes and Dudley's so the kids were repeating these with FOTL access and even they said they didn't want to waste a day at a water park! They are 8 and 10.
