Waterparks in the summer

I just have a few questions about visiting the water parks in the summer.

How late are they typically open during August?

Can you go in the morning and return later in the day?

Do a lot of people wear water shoes, do they allow them on the slides (I'm thinking of the kids feet, walking all around the park on the hot pavement)?

My youngest usually wears floaties on her arms. Do they allow these or do I need to rent a lifejacket from them?

I don't think the water parks are open past 6pm in the summer. They open at 10AM, so you could go back and forth, but I don't think there would ample time.

Not an expert, but to answer some of your questions.

Yes, they do allow water shoes. It's a smart bring because the pavement is wicked hot.

Yes, little ones can wear floaties but then they are limited to the kiddie rides only. No floaties on any of the big kid or family rides.

I don't know how late they are open until - I think 7 pm. Also, I never left a waterpark and then went back. It seems like an awful lot of work. It is quite difficult to find a spot, so if you go, you'll have to find something else, if there's anything available.

We have PAP's so we go to the water parks frequently. Usually in the summer it's open til 7pm. You may return, just save your ticket and get a hand stamp. I wear water shoes the whole day. DS and DH do not like water shoes and they go barefooted. To me the side walks just get too hot. They do have water sprinklers along the walking paths, but my feet are sensitive to the debris and heat on the path. Occasionally we see floaties, but they are not permitted on the slides since they could pose a danger obstructing the child. Life vests are free to rent. You just give either a room key or driver's license to "rent" them.
