On our next trip we have been thinking of going to the waterparks. My question is if you have a 7 day park admission ticket, does going to a waterpark count as one of the 7 days of park admission.

Nope. You if you buy a 7 day parks ticket you get 7 days of admission to the MAIN themeparks.

If you add the WPFM option, you get an ADDITIONAL 7 entrances to the waterparks and Disneyquest. Unlike the main themeparks entitlements, You CAN use multiple waterparks admissions on the same day .. ie: Blizzard Beach in the morning, Typhoon lagoon in the afternoon = 2 of your 7 WPFM entitlements.

Another example.. you could get up in the morning and go to Epcot (this would use 1 of your 7 main themepark entitlements) and then go to Typhoon Lagoon in the afternoon (1 WPFM entitlement) and then go to DisneyQuest in the evening (2nd WPFM entitlement that day)

Another example.. you could get up in the morning and go to Epcot (this would use 1 of your 7 main themepark entitlements) and then go to Blizzard Beach in the afternoon (1 WPFM entitlement) and then go to Epcot again in the evening (no further entitlements used)

The WPFM entitlements and your main themepark entitlements are separate.

All options must be used with in 14 days of the first use of the ticket unless you purchase the no expiration option.

For more info - check the "EVERYTHING ABOUT TICKETS" sticky which is linked in my signature.

Looks like you will be down there before PI is closed. You could use one of your WPAM days at PI.

With the 7 day Park ticket and adding the WPAM option ($50 per ticket), you could spend a full 14 days at WDW using one pass per day.

We had the WPF&M option last trip (April 2008). I think our whole family (DS5, DD7, DD10) loved the water parks as much or more than the regular parks, and also loved the virtual roller coaster in DQ. If you go twice, you're saving money (it's cheaper to buy a single admission than the WPF&M option). We went 4 times, would've gone more - probably would next time. We liked the wave pool at TL better than BB, but both were great.
