In June TL and BB will be VERY crowded by 1:00. You are also running the risk of the common afternoon thunderstorms cutting your day short. TL and BB will close during thunderstorms.

During the summer, I'd call first. My best water park visits have been in the late afternoon when crowds are beginning to recede. Personally, I prefer to visit one of the major parks in the morning, go to a water park for the afternoon, then return to the major parks in the evening. It's always worked for my family.

We have always just gone to the waterpark first thing in the morning, stayed until lunch time then hopped off somewhere else. I think you would be best to check to see if it was full before going for 1 pm in the busy times though.
