Water??

It's funny what people experience. I think the Anaheim water is gross - it smells funny when you turn on a tap, like someone let one go, if you know what I mean. On my first time out there I had started feeling just a little sick, and upon talking to locals in the HM queue, they had asked if I had been drinking water. I said yes, but they they were like "not tap water, right?" They advised me to stop immediately and drink only filtered or bottled.

I don't fins WDW water to be all that great compared to home, but I think it is much better and drinkable than Anaheim water. It's never made me sick or anything.

If water smells when you turn on a tap, it's likely not the water, but the pipes in the drain the water is going down. Probably covered in buildup and the smell comes back up as soon as water starts going down it. I was having that issue at home until I poured some bleach water down all the drains, and now there is no smell anymore.

I live near anaheim, but we have a different water source. I don't think Anaheim tap water tastes or smells bad at all. The water fountains at DL have fine water, although I hate it when it's not refrigerated. Not all the fountains are.

There's a filtered water station inside the fitness center for GC as well, opposite from where the Peloton sits. Not readily accessible, i'll admit, unless you're a guest there.
Do you happen to know about any at the DLH. When staying on property in the past it has been at the GCH so I know pretty much nothing about the DLH.

I know DLH is undergoing a renovation and God only knows what they are going to change out.

Anyone have any experience with the bottle refill stations in DL? Are they also unfiltered like the water fountains or are they better?

We usually just buy bottles at a gas station before arriving and throw them under the stroller but we are doing a childless trip this weekend to snag a boarding group and we would rather fill as needed than lug around bottles of water in a backpack.

I proposed bringing the empty stroller but was vetoed for some unknown reason.

Southern California uses a blend for its drinking water that's 2-3 ground water and 1-3 surface water. Central Florida's drinking water comes entirely from the ground. So yes, the water in SoCal is better, but if you're use to surface water, you'll want to bring some type of flavoring.

We drink 100% free water only in Disneyland. I have my entire life. It has never tasted unpleasant, nor had any flavor....

I've used the refill station - especially the one at Racho Del Zocalo - I think we used a few others but that one sticks out in my mind. I thought the water tasted fine. I don't recall it being cold though just room temperature.

I do normally bring/buy a large bottle of water(1 -2 gallons) fill out my water bottle before I leave my hotel and head to the parks then refill at one of the refill stations through out the day.
