anyone know where I can find a listing of water temperature for the first week of September for the destinations on the eastern cruise? :confused3 My husband keeps asking me and I don't know where to find the answer. :confused3 Or if anyone could just give me an answer to the question I don't really need to look it up myself :lmao: :confused3

Thanks
Noelle

I would check the National Weather service weather.gov it seems I saw something there but it may have just been east coast of the USA temps

Honestly Sept is still very warm water in that part of the sea hence why hurricanes form. If you are worried about swimming or such don't be its fine.

Just go to Google the type "average water temperature for _________"

I do recall that the coldest water temperature ever recorded in the Bahamas (which is where Castaway Cay is) is 73 degrees, it would get warmer as you move south.

FWIW, that portion of the Bahamas is known as the Abacos, and here's some data that may help you, for September :
Average Daytime High: Low 90's
Average Nighttime Low: High 70's
Average Water Temp: 85
Average Monthly Rainfall: 6.5"
Average Wind Direction: SE
Average Wind Speed: 10+ knots
Average High Wind Spped: 40 kts

Hope this helps... (btw, you'll have no trouble swimming - it's awesome warm, and that's from a Floridian who throws on a wetsuit when it's under 80)

Air temperatures will be hot and water temperatures just fine.

I believe that's a pretty fair statement for typical DCL cruises from Summer throught early October.
