Water Taxis

Of the three resorts that have water taxis, does each resort have dedicated water taxis or do some of the resorts share? We will be staying at Royal Pacific in September for the first time, does it have its own boat?

How often do they typically arrive?

If we JUST miss a boat is it better to walk?

Finally, is there a bus alternate or just the boat?

Dedicated boat(s). When it's very busy, more than one boat will run. Round trip is maybe 15minutes?

If I just miss a boat, I will walk. Beautiful path, not too far.

I only took a bus once from city Walk to RPR because the boats will not operate when it is lightning. I assume there is a bus normally, but I don't know how often that runs.

There are also pedi-cabs that work on tips. I usually tip $5. They generally wait near the security checkpoint by Margaritaville before you go on the walking path.

Dedicated to each resort. Sometimes up to 3 boats depending on being busy. Can be every 5 minutes to every 15 minutes.

They do have a bus but it's better to ride the boat or walk.

They run pretty frequently..HOWEVER ..once they arrive they do sit at the dock for a few mins to let people board before departing.We stay at Portofino and have been at the dock area as a boat was pulling in..We started walking and still beat it to the citywalk docks and Portofino is the furthest of the resorts( though a beautiful walk ).They also have busses, but the busses drop off at the citywalk parking garages which is a long hike from park gates.

Don't take the shuttle. It leaves from the front of the resort (opposite where you are when at the dock) and drops off at the citywalk garage. That's a relatively long walk to make; I haven't mapped it out but it sure feels longer than just walking on the path.
