Water shoes

Does anyone know if you are allowed to wear those "water shoes" or some call them "boat shoes" to Blizzard Beach? For some reason I remember having issues with my oldest skimming her toes going down the slides when we were there 10 years ago. Not sure if I was just stupid and didnt get her those shoes or if you aren't allowed to wear them. TIA

I have always been told by the Cast Members to take off my Water Shoes at the top of the slide and hold them until the bottom of the slide,BUT,in a recent Thread,I was the only Guest that had ever been told to take them off,so,my experience appears to be in the VAST minority.

Hi,

When we went to BB last year we were told to take our water shoes off. I hate holding my shoes on the slide, but what is nice is BB has water spigots around the park to keep the pavement cool. We ended up going bare foot and it was great.

We also were told to remove our water shoes.

It was no biggie, and we were there in August, so it was HOT HOT HOT!

Was nice not to burn our feet.

FINALLY,some other DISERS besides me were also told to remove their shoes before going down the Slides!LOLTHANK YOU!
