Do most of you out there wear water shoes at TL or BB. Are they allowed on the slides and in the lazy river? I am hoping so because I really don't want to abandon my sandals in a locker for the day, I'd rather be able to wear water shoes to the park.

I always wear mine - there are a few slides you have to take them off but you just cross your arms and hold them in your hands when you go down.

They do not allow them on bodyslides so you have to take them off and hold onto them.

They make you take off any shoes before going down a slide. I'm not sure if it is just when you go down a slide without a tube, or both...I saw them telling people to take their shoes off and hold them on slides without tubes. I didn't wear any shoes, I saw people with their CROCS, though. :thumbsup2 We got a locker for keys and money and change of clothes and put our towels and sandels a our chairs.

I think you can wear them in the lazy river and main pools.
HTH :sunny:

We usually wear water shoes at TL and BB. However, we all have crocs this year and we might just wear those.

The pavement at BB particularly gets boiling hot. When you are walking around from slide to slide you will need something on your feet. They do have little cubbies near the line entrances for you to leave your shoes. I usually wear my Tevas and just leave them at the bottom when I can't wear them on a slide.

We feel wearing them at BB and around the resort pool is a must! We feel they protect against the hot and sometimes icky terrain as well as from any foot diseases (for lack of a better word) that we might pick up.

Oh man, that is an understatement!! :sunny: When we were in BB in May of 2004 I thought we were going to blister the bottom of our feet. Sure wish we had the water shoes then.

We have been to TL many times over the years..mostly in August and never burnt our feet. I think there is more shade at TL.
