water shipping question @ POR

I decided to go ahead and have water shipped from Cosco. I put in POR address and it came up as invalid. I used

1251 Riverside Dr
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

Is this the wrong address. I verified at a couple of Web sites but couldn't find it on Disney's. Thanks!

Nevermind..I just called POR and they confirmed the address. With as many DIS's that ship water from COSCO I am surprised that they show they didn't have the address showing up as valid in their system. I was able to over ride the system. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

I do have one more question. When I called POR I didn't say who I was, I just asked a general question. I know a lof of you fax the resort in advance. Is this really necessary? I don't have access to a fax machine.

What a great idea! Please give me the details about how you ordered the water I'm going to be there in 5 1/2 weeks and would love to save on bottled water. How did order it ? How much does it cost? and How far in advance did you order? Any help would be appreciated.

I got the idea from this tread. I went to Cosco.com and ordered it. There is a slight fee of 35 cents (5%) for being a nonmember and no shipping fee! I didn't believe it myself when I heard about it from this thread. I did call the resort directly to verify if it was ok and they said yes but they acted as if they never heard of having water shipped just other boxes. They wanted me to put the arrival date on the box but I told them it was coming from the internet and I didn't have a way to do this. I did put my reservation # next to the name of the resort and the person said that that should be fine. It cost me about $8 all together for a 24 pack. I figure that if were to buy 24 bottles of water at WDW that would be $48 as I think they cost around $2 per bottle. I figured that if they lost the water or it didn't work out the worst I would be out was $8.

this is the way I worded it ( on the shipping address info)
My name & ":hold for guest check in ______(date ) ( on the 1st name line)
A Disney Resort ( on last name line)
Port Orleans Riverside ( next line)
Riverside Drive ( forgot the street #)next line
Lake Buena Vista, Florida and zip

disney address do not show up as valid
just hit the "use this address" option

What a great deal and money saver. How far in advance should I order? I will be there with a family of 11 sept 13-21st. Where will you pick up thje water? Front Desk?

The Costco site says leave 2-3 business days for delivery
I gave them 10 days just in case
I have never ordered before but I understand that you can pick it up when you check in.
Costco prices include delivery
