Water Parks

What do people do when they are visiting the water parks?
We have got an in-room safe at our hotel that we will keep our passports in for the duration of our stay and also put everything in (c/c, t/c, cash, cameras etc) when we are swimming at our hotel pool. I know that there are lockers at the water parks, do you think they are safe enough to put credit cards and travellers cheques in or would we be best to leave everything in our room safe and just take enough cash to pay for snacks...........Just thought we will have to take our Disney tickets to get in so will obviously need to leave them in lockers.

We always use the lockers and have never had any problems at all. We tend to video the park when we first get there and then leave the video and digital cameras in the lockers for the rest of the day. Also my driving licence and a couple of travellers cheques.

The first time we went DH lost the car keys (thought they would be safe in the pocket of his swimmers). Thankfully they were handed in.

Last year, our friends' DD10 lost her watch and that was handed straight in too - people are amazing honest and it really restored our faith in human nature.

We alway's use the lockers at the water park. We try not to take too much money, just enough for the day, but we put camera, camcorder and watches in there with no problems at all.

We use the lockers, but have a cautionary tale

One trip, DH lost the locker key (the key fell off the wrist band ) so we asked for help in retrieving all our wordly possessions! The CM was happy to help, but asked us to tell him what was in the locker and what would be the first thing he'd see when he opened the door, so that he could be sure it was really our locker.

Luckily, we could remember putting a brightly coloured purse on top of everything and were able to describe it fairly well (he was obviously satisfied that it was our locker anyway!).

So now we always try to make a point of putting something easily identifiable in the locker just incase we need to describe it!
