Does anyone know if there are any sites where you can purchase discount tickets for either blizzard beach or Typhoon Lagoon? Thanks

If you are eligible for Membership Extras (have Blue DVC Member ID Card), you can purchase 1-day Water Park tickets for $49 plus tax. This discount is apparently only available at the ticket windows.

We purchased our water park tickets at the BoardWalk front desk in May.

Are the water parks worth it? We are passholders and have never gone, just seems like if we can go to MK or waterparks we never do. Are they cool though? Uniquely Disney?

Definitely - especially Blizzard Beach. Unique theme and lots of great rides. Well worth it IMO.

We skip the water parks, but the big kids and grandkids go. That perk is a part of our AP, but we don’t use it. While it’s nice to drive there, taking the buses are a real PITA. You have to transfer buses to get there and back. My grandson went to typhoon last week and the waits for both buses each way were long. His response when we ask how it went was...”the buses suck”. We offered to pick them up, but next time they’ll probably call us. When the buses were direct it wasn’t so bad, but now 2 buses to and 2 buses back doesn’t work well. We were at BWV that week.

Theres no direct bus from the resorts?

You can get the discounted DVC water park passes at your resort concierge desk if you are staying at a DVC resort or at the water park ticket booths.

No. That ended last year. To go to blizzard you take a bus to animal kingdom and change to the blizzard bus. To go to typhoon, you take a Disney spring bus and change to typhoon. Same to come back. So generally your looking at an hour to commute there each way if it goes well. We always gave a rental car.
