Water Parks with young kids???

We are planning a trip in 9/08. And my Ds will be 4 at that time, and our new baby will be 1 at the time. Do you think we should do the waterparks, or skip them until the kids are a bit older??

My kids loved the little kid areas at the water park at those ages.

We took our DD's for the first time when they were that exact age and they loved it..DD6 went and hung out with her dad and grandmother (they are the daring ones) while Grandpa, myself, and DD2 hung out on the lazy river..It was great because she still took naps then and I just coated her down with sunscreen and she straddled my lap and she was out like a light!!

GO AND HAVE FUN and take LOTS of PICTURES they grow so quick!!

Our first trip to WDW is in June. Our girls are 2, 4 & 5 and we plan on visiting both BB & TL. I fully expect they will be more enthusiastic about the water parks (and the pool at our rental house) than any other part of our trip!

We took DD to BB last year when she was 14 months. She had been in "swim classes" since 6 months and was very comfortable in the water and she really loved it. It was a fun, slow paced day.

I think you would have a great time with them . The kiddie areas are really fun and since you don't have an older child who would want to go to the areas for older kids it should go smoothly. I hated the parks myself but it was because my DH went to the things for older people with my DS and left me with our DD in the kiddie area. I didn't like not being able to stay with her the entire time she waited in line because I wanted to make sure I was at the bottom when she got there. She was only 4 at the time and I didn't like the fact I had to leave her unattended for a bit and worried someone would do something. Since both your kids are young you can both stay in the kiddie area and one can be at the top of the slide and the other at the bottom . I think it would be fun for them my DD loved it, even if I didn't.

This is good info...we were going to skip them this time, but sounds like it might be worth it!
