water parks - when to go?

Just trying to plan . . . is it best to utilize the early morning entry for resort guests? I also saw the Typhon Lagoon has an an some evenings for resort guest - how is that? Is arriving late afternoon a good choice, too?

Hi,

Best time to avoid long lines on the slides is first thing in the morning. If you're not interested in the slides then you can arrive later.

It also depends on what time of year...if you are going in the summer the water parks will often close for a while in the afternoon due to thunderstorms.

I agree - first thing in the morning, even on Magic Hour days. You beat the local high school kids and the guests at non-WDW resorts. Crowds get bad by noon. k

Always arrive early to the water parks. They often fill to capacity quickly.
