We're going to Typhoon Lagoon for the first time and I have some questions:

1. Are the lockers safe for your valuables? We frown about leaving our wallet/purse in the room and want to make sure they will be safe in a locker?

2. Do the lockers use keys or codes, and if they use a key, is it on a bracelet so you won't easily lose it?

3. Are the lockers outside the changing areas so my wife and I both can get to it?

4. I know they frown on buttons on your shorts and such due to scratching their slides....but do they care about watches?

Any other info for a first timer would be welcome. I've been to Disney World around 30 times (that's 30 weeklong packages) but I've never been to a water park other than just walking around to check it out.

Thanks guys...we leave tomorrow evening!!!!

Here are my answers to your question....but I'm not 100% sure on some things...so bare with me!

1. I understand about not wanting to leave your wallet/purse in the locker, what we've done is leave most of the valuable stuff in the locker and it has been completely fine. I figured that the beach is less safe than a locker.

2. They use a key and yes there band/bracelet thing that goes with it.

3. In remembering, I believe they are outside the dressing rooms!

4. This I am not sure of, but I don't think they have a problem with watches!

I hope this helps, and please forgive me if I'm not correct- I've been to WDW so many times but haven't been to a waterpark for the last 2 years so I'm a little forgetful! But that is what I remember! :sunny:

1. Yes they are very safe

2. They use keys and have bracets for the keys. Just a warning though, when I worked there I would find at least 3 keys a day in drains or at bottoms of slides by the end of the day, hold on to your keys. If you lose them security has a way to get into your locker so you can get your stuff (as long as you can identify items in the locker).

3. Yes the lockers are right next to the changing areas outside

4. Watches are fine, on the body slides (summitt, humunga, etc) where it would be a concern, your arms are crossed across your chest so the watch wont scratch the slide.
