I've not been able to find any official info from a Disney site, but have seen it elsewhere that metal is not allowed on suits in the water parks. I have a pair of board shorts I was planning to wear with 2 small metal snaps at the waist and almost every pair of swim trunks I can find for boys have metal grommets around the tightening string at the waist. How strict are they about metal on swimsuits? Would these things be allowed?

Thanks :goodvibes

They mean buckles or large rivets that can get caught on the slides. Not grommets or snaps.

The eyelets on the swim trunks shouldn't be a problem. They are small, round and smooth. Plus they are on the front of the trunks.

Mainly they don't want pieces of metal that will scrap against slides as the rider is going down. Or edged pieces that may pop the floats.
