Water Parks in Late Fall

We are going to WDW from Nov 28 - Dec 3. Does anyone know if we will still be able to use the water parks at that time. I understand they are heated but is the heated water enough to compensate for the outside air temps?

It depends on the weather day by day we have been at that time of year and seen many folks enjoy the water parks and resort pools to.Many times though it seems to cool for me.

Are the entire waterparks heated or just some of the attractions?

Part of it really depends upon what part of the country you live in-so what your idea of "warm enough to swim" is. Boy, I've seen the affect of this first hand! We used to live way up in New England and always swam at WDW in November. We'd be swimming, having a blast, while the CMs be all bundled up, looking at us like we were crazy to swim in such cold weather. Now we live in a climate that makes WDW seem cool and on my last few trips, I've looked at those same crazy Northerners swimming, shaking my head. Now I won't go in the water unless it's at least 85 degrees out. Usually that's not late November.

My son & I were there December 2001.
It was in the 80's the whole trip.
Typoon Lygoon was closed.
Blizzard Beach was open we went 2 days and water temp. was cold in some area and heated in others.
It kind of goes with the attraction.
I'm not a very good swimmer so I'm not that fond of water.
My son is a fish (nick-name MINNOW) got me to get in the water.
I have to admit I had a great time this is why we went 2 days.

Just to let you know, one of the parks is closed at that time of the year for yearly refurbishment. This past year, it was Blizzard Beach. You may enjoy the water park that is open. The water will be heated, and unless the outside temperatures drop drastically, it should be open. Hours are normally 10-5 7 days a week.

I was at Typhoon Lagoon in mid-November, 2003. It was open and the weather was warm enough.
