I am planning a week long trip for my family in late-August. My initial thoughts were to spend 5 days at the Main Parks and one day at one of the water parks. However, it appears that there are a number of height restrictions for both parks (especially Blizzard Beach). My DS7 will be about 46" tall and my DD4 will be about 40" tall when we go. Do you think it is worth while to go to a WP or are we better off using the extra day to continue touring "the big four".

Thanks,
Eric

I have 2 suggestions first ask the kids what they want to do, and second why not play it by ear? wait and see how it is going. You may have seen all you want in the parks and be ready to take a day off on the other hand the kids may want to go back and do something over. As far as the height there really are only a couple of things they can't do. My DS 7 was just at 48 but not over so he couldn't do 2 things at BB. The one he wanted to do Turbo gusher I think, and the really high fast slide that he didn't want to do anyway. It didn't matter he had more than enough other things to do and we stayed all day. Same thing at Typhoon when he was 5.

Thanks for the reply. Ordinarily, I'd agree with the play-it-by-ear philosophy, but it is more an issue of which type of ticket to buy. We are definitely doing MYW + PH, but aren't sure if we should add the water park option.
