Could someone fill me in on the "little kid" facilities at the Disney water parks? We are thinking of using our Park Hopper Plus feature to visit one of the water parks, but are not sure if it is worth it with children ages 3 and 5, and if so which one to go to. They are too little for water slides and wave pools aren't fun for them either. Does one of the water parks have a better little kid area than the other? Is it even worth it to go to a water park with this age children? Thanks.

My dd (now 4) has been going to the water parks since she was a year old. She loves the slides! She did the family raft ride with us, but mostly just the slides in the smaller kids area. We like TL better than BB for younger kids because there's more shade, the view of your child is not obstructed from top to bottom of the slide like it is with the fake "snow drifts" at BB. She also loved the wave pool! Keep them in the shallow end though, it gets pretty rough. I would suggest a life jacket for the pool. HTH!

We have also had our youngest (age 5) to the water parks several times. He likes both, but we prefer Typhoon Lagoon. We were just there in March and he spent hours going down the one little water tube ride in the kiddie area over and over and over and over.

In Blizzard Beach, it's a little harder to watch him since the slides are longer. It almost takes two adults to manage it since one needs to be at the top and one at the bottom. Then one is always walking up and down with him.

Both are fun, so your choice might depend on the other family members.
