Water Parks: BB vs. TL - what would u choose

We added the water park option for this first time to our upcoming trip. Our delimma is that we will not have enough time to enjoy both water parks...so which would you choose?? We are travelling with a 10 and 9 year old, and we want to choose what would be most enjoyable for them.

our kids are 6 and 8, and enjoyed TL muc more. I didn't find BB as kid friendly.

gosh thats a hard one plus i haven't been to the water parks since 2004, but in 2004 by boy was 10 and BB he liked the best......

My girls have been to both twice. They are 10, 7, and 4. They like BB better because of the slides.

Typhoon Lagoon. Love the wave pool, sharks and new water coaster.

My kids (now 18 and 21) have always preferred Blizzard Beach for the slides. I don't like all that blinding white concrete. The tropical theme at Typhoon Lagoon is much, much more appealing to me and I really like Shark Reef.

We went to TL on Sunday and compared to BB we didn't like it as much. BB is WAY more kid friendly and has lots of facilites by the children's section. TL had some fun things we enjoyed but it is set up much differently and even some of the CM's we spoke with commented on the different setups and how BB is better laid out.

Personally - we like the TL themeing better as we are beach people and the shark tank was fun as well but I would go with BB.

Typhoon Lagoon would be our favourite. The water coaster and the wave pool are fantastic...nothing better in our opinion!

My boys are 9 and 10 and they say their fav is BB. The tween area at BB is really awesome for this age group, and the family raft ride at BB is awesome as well. Like others have said, the beachy atmosphere of TL appealed more to me, but the kids far and away preferred BB. Though, we all enjoyed both parks, and I am certain you will have fun no matter what choice you make

I've taken DN's the last 2 years - first time to BB, second time to TL and I'm taking them again tomorrow - they are now 11 & 9. They picked TL again because of the water coaster.

Honestly - either one is fun and your kids will have a good time no matter which you pick. DN's like the family ride better at BB and they like the "lift" that takes you to the top. We always do the single rider line to get there faster - they don't mind sitting with strangers - in fact the younger one prefers it because she likes to meet "new friends".
