does anyone know if you can wear shorts over your suit on any of the water park ride. ( jersey, norivets, zippers, whatever)I am shall we say, "amply endowed" and would rather not let it all hang out! Thanks

Yep! I've worn shorts over bathing suit also have worn T-shirt after I had too much sun. I had shorts to match bathingsuit made out of nylon, so they would dry fast.

I wear surf shorts over my suit. Do not worry you will see all shapes and sizes in teeny tiny suits . I've never seen so many tattoos and belly buttons pierced in my life! I'm about 20 lbs overweight and I kept thinking - dang I look good!

OK,OK no razzing on the tattoos. I have a lovely Mickey Mouse on my ankle. It is the ONLY tattoo I will EVER get (and I thought about it for FOUR years before I got him), but darn he looks good. Of course, when I'm in WDW many people assume he's a temporary tattoo and ask me where I got him.

They look so disappointed when they find out they can't get one, too.

thanks, we've never been to any of the water parks as we always go Dec-Jan. but sometimes it is warm enough so we might try it this year (plus I heard the water is heated and we are used to cold in ohio!)

You might even see a lot of thong bathing suits. I think that is just yucky, just my opinion. I couldn't bring myself to use a tube after someone with a thong sat on it. yuck. No flaming please. Lots of thongs while I was there a few weeks ago.

Don't they make one piece bathing suits with longer pant legs and short sleeves any more? I think they called them tank suites. This way you won't need to wear a T-shirt and/or shorts over it.

If you don't want to get too sunburned or are too modest to wear thong suits, maybe the aforementioned kind, which apparently was popular in the 1920's and also worn by men, may do.

We go every year and us ladies all wear nylon shorts over one-piece suits. Nylon drys fast.

The shorts will not only provide your modesty but help prevent "slide burn" on the skin.

I purchased my "water park" suit that comes up alittle higher across my chest in order to keep the girls from popping out. It happens quite often on some of the bigger slides. (note the stadium seating at the bottom of Humunga Cowabunga)

I also wear water shoes. All day on that concrete can tear your feet up. Even if you only wear part time or in the wave pool and lazy rivers.

Have fun ! :Pinkbounc

thanks... a lot of good ideas. hadn't thought of the thong/tube thing...personally i am getting kind of yucked out thinking of a sweaty hairy sumo wrestler type guy in speedos going on one before me but to each their own!

I have a couple of those one piece suits that have a skirt attached that I wear to the water parks. Makes me feel more "dressed" and covers my behind so those slide "wedgies" don't show ;)

I feel a lot more secure when I'm wearing one of those at the water parks.

And what about those guys in the speedos, yuck!

Seriously the best thing you can bring (after your suit and shorts) is a good pair of water socks.
