Water parks-ap discount

We have AP not PAP. We bought them in Jan. and are using them in both June and July. We would like to got the water parks 2 or 3 times total. Can I upgrade to PAP? Do they charge the full year or do they prorate the ticket since it will only be good for 7 months not the full 12?
Should I just buy day tickets? Is there anywhere to get discounts on the tickets besides the AP discount?

You can upgrade your AP to a PAP but it will not be prorated. You will pay the full price difference between the two (currently around $128 with tax) and your expiration date will remain the same as your AP was.

Your AP discount on the water park tickets means you'll pay around $32 for each admission. That means you'd have to be going to the water parks four times to break even, five or more to come out ahead.

Discounts on Disney water park tickets are rare.
