Looking at the WP&M option.....

1) Is DisneyQuest no longer offered on this?
2) What the heck is the ESPN Complex for? It doesn't look like there's anything to do there unless a special sporting event is taking place.
3) Have you visited the mini golf sites? Nice? or average?

1. because Disney Quest is closing sometime this year.
2. It's pretty much useless most of the time.
3. They're really fun. Much better than average.

I love the water parks option, especially if you are going in hotter months. MK in am, then water park, then back to MK at night, as an example. It really helps get you out of the heat plus, for us, we just love spending whole days at water parks sometimes. DQ is great for bad weather. I really wish they weren't closing it!

I have the same question myself about DQ! Mousesavers says you can still use the WP&M option to get into DQ until it ceases operations but I am probably going to call tomorrow just to make sure.

Has anyone been recently that can provide insight?

I can't answer your question, but I can tell you not to waste your time calling. Phone CMs are notorious for giving out incorrect info. You'd be better off asking a Magic 8 Ball. Your best bet is just to try it and see what happens.

Love the mini golf! Each of the 2 locations have 2 courses. You get to play both courses consecutively for only 1 WPF&M credit (ex: play both the winter and summer course for one credit at Winter Summerland). It's a great deal and lots of fun. The theming of the courses is better than any other mini golf I've ever played. Like pp mentioned, you do have to play before 4pm. We like to play the courses at Winter Summerland and then go to Blizzard Beach on the same day since they are at the same location. Makes it easy. Fantasia Gardens is great to play a few rounds and then walk over to The Boardwalk and enjoy the sights. Make a reservation for ice cream at Beaches & Cream for a special treat!

I have a question. This is the first time we are adding WP+M to our ticket so that we can take our first trip to a water park. Does this mean we get admission to one of the included places each day AND admission to a park or would it be the water park (or other add-ons) OR say EPCOT? I want to believe it would be the first that you could do Blizzard Beach and Epcot (or whatever combo) in one day, but want to verify before I go making plans for us :)

I called.

Alesia, you were right! lol. The guy didn't know what I was talking about in regards to the website no longer including Disney Quest in the Water Parks & More option. However, he did some research and said that it will let me in and that they are probably doing that because DQ is scheduled to close at some point and most people (unlike me) plan their trips very far in advance.

Dledger, You can go to both a water park and a theme park in one day. Or if you have, say, a 5 day WPF&M ticket, you can park hop for five days and then go to the water parks for five more days. It is a neat little way to extend your vacation. I plan on going to a water park and disney quest on the day of my arrival.

That ticket doesn't inherently include park hopping. You also need to add the hopper option.

Yes, you're right. Nice catch! I mistakenly referenced the ticket I purchased and what I planned to do with it. My Mistake! :)

By the way, for anyone looking for tickets, I got a five day Hopper+ WPF&M ticket for 388 total from orbitz. This was by far the best deal I could find. Linked them to my disney experience with no problem. I was hesitant buying from someone other than Disney, so just sharing my experience. I'm also getting 14 dollars of that back through ebates making it an even better deal. For comparison, 4 day Hopper+ WPF&M is currently 420.68 after taxes direct from Disney.

Agreed!

The only way we will truly know is if someone reports that they have done it. As it stands, DQ is not included with the WP&M option, nor are there vouchers in package booklets. Everything is for WWOS. I hope they allow it with the WP&M option, but they certainly are not obligated to. We have a 12 night trip coming up in May/June. I would love to hit up DQ a time or two, but until I hear reports of success, I am acting under the assumption that it is a no go.

I was considering a MYW+PH+WP/M but I couldn't understand what besides the water parks would make it worth it to me because that is the only thing I think I would even think of using. DisneyQuest, no thanks. ESPN, nah. Golfing, well, I thought it was only for "actual" golf and not "mini-golf."

So, my question is...is mini-golf one of the WP/M options? Then, it might be worth it to upgrade!

Yes, mini golf is included, but there are time restrictions.

The Disney Parks Moms blog, an official Disney source, says that even though Disney Quest isn't listed, it is an available option on the Water Parks Fun and more option until it closes.

That site is known for giving misinformation. Disney has a disclaimer stating that they don't monitor the answers (or something like that).

I upgraded some guests' WPF&M tickets a couple of days ago that had DisneyQuest usage on them.
We're these old, unused tickets with the WP&M option that were upgraded with more days added or tickets that were adding the current WP&M option?

They were recently purchased (same week) WPF&M tickets and the guests were adding Park Hopper to their remaining park days.

Interesting! And you are certain the tickets were purchased in that timeframe and not just price bridged by first use being done that week? Meaning that it is impossible that they were older unused tickets.
