Not sure if this is the right place to post, feel free to move!

In May of 2004 we stayed at Disney when the tickets included admission to water parks. We went to Blizzard Beach and kids LOVED it! We've been 2 times since and never scheduled time for water parks.
We are thinking of going again this May. Kind of a budget trip, staying 6 nights and thinking of MYW tickets, 7 days no hopping/expiring. My kids are already asking to do Blizzard Beach again. What it the cheapest way to do this? Get 6 day tickets and then buy 1 day admission to BB? If that is the best way, where would I purchase the tickets?
We are staying off site probably.
Thanks for your help

I went to figure this out for you. Here is the breakdown. For regular 6 day MYW passes (no hopping no expiry) the cost for 2 adults 2 kids (3-9) is $732.00 (before tax). If you added the water park option, the cost for the same ticket is $910.00 (before tax). The difference is $178.00

Buying a one day Water park pass for 2 adults 2 kids (3-9) is $124.00 (before tax).

So, you can get the water park option added onto your ticket for $178.00
(4 admissions BTW to Water Parks ON TOP of your regular parks. For example, you could go to BB during the day, then go to MK at night with no problem)

So, for an additional $54 (before tax) you can have basically unlimited Water Park entrance for your entire trip PLUS DisneyQuest (cost for four is over $100.00 alone) for everyone. Only $13.50 extra per person. Seems like the way to go IMHO.

We figured this out on one of our first trips. BTW...My opninon would definitely be to try Typhoon Lagoon if you've been to BB already. IMO, Typhoon Lagoon is a better park than BB.

If the one visit to BB is all you can swing timewise, I would probably go with what you are suggesting... but thelionqueen points out one of the neat things about the MYW passes and all the different permutations of it. Right now the MYW "base" ticket you're looking at is $217 per adult. A one day BB admission will run you roughly 36 bucks per adult. Total of $253. A MYW "Water Parks and More" ticket adds on 6 admissions to water parks, Disney Quest, Pleasure Island or Wide World of Sports per person. This runs $263 advance.

So for about 10-15 dollars per person, you could go to BB twice, or go to BOTH water parks, or try DQ. 6 admissions would be hard to use up, but even if you only use two plus admissions, you've already saved money than if you decided to visit them separately. You'll have to look at your timeframe and your budget to decide if you want to spend a little more to get more options.

As for where, always buy in advance. I would use Ticketmania's website. But go to Mousesavers first and subscribe to the newsletter. It comes out around the 15th and has an even deeper discount from Ticketmania for subscribers.

Oops. I quoted for 7 day MYW passes and you said 6! I personally WOULD do the 6 days because we typically spend our first afternoon/evening after arriving at a water park anyway.
