Can you do anything at the Disney Water Parks with an infant? (6 months) Can you take them on the lazy river? Into the wave pool? Anything else you might be able to do with them?

Thanks,
Cheryl

Any responses out there? We are taking our 7 mo. old to TL and was wondering the same thing! Thanks for any help!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

our son was 11 mos and nat walking the first time we went to TL, hes also been to BB after he was walking.

I had found a baby carrier for the water at toys r us earlier in the summer. so when we rode the lazt river i just strtapped him on and away we went. one of my favorite pictures is the one they took of us on the river! other than that they have a great little kids area, but it fills up quickly so either go early or grab a spot near one of the ;little tide pools next to the wave pool.

We took our kids to BB when they were 3 and 5 and I HATED it!! We tried to do things in the beginning but soon realized that this was not a park to enjoy the rides with young kids. I finally went to a small area designed for tots and hung out there the rest of the day. If you go with super young ones and realize that you will not be taking part in much of the park, you will probably not be disappointed. We were so bummed that we still have 4 water park tickets for each of us that have not been used. (I was under the impression that eventually they would expire, but I checked with ticketing research the other day and was told that they are still good.) I guess that we'll use them when the kids are teens. I can't remember if anybody told you to get there as soon as the park opens because you will want a lounge chair and they go FAST. I hope things are different for you than they were for us. Have Fun!

I really don't know why I am posting , after all my advise is to skip it.

We took my daughter when she was 9 months old to WDW and skipped the water parks this year. We stayed at Poly and the pool there was more then enough for us at that time. I love TL and BB, but I knew that we just couldn't enjoy anything and it is too hard to keep them out of the sun. If you use a resort pool, then you can head back to the room to take a nap, dry off, eat, clam down, get something you forgot.

We didn't really miss the water parks, we had been before, when we weren't parents. It really depends on how much it means to you. A fun pool would be easier and just a great for the kid. My daugther really liked crawling around at Poly pool. Y&B has as great pool for kids and CS is good too.

So my advise it to waite. I don't know long, I wonder myself when a good age is to take them, 3 or 4? Have a great trip.

I wouldn't generally spend the $$ but if I buy the plus passes the water park days would be $10 each for my husband and I. We've been to the parks quite a few times so we don't mind missing a day. I just thought it would be a good way to get away from the resort for a few hours and not use a theme park day. I don't mind that we won't really be able to do much I just wanted to make sure there weren't restrictions on bringing babies into the lazy river or anything like that. Luckily the baby will be 6 months and old enough for sunscreen. I appreciate everyones responses. Any other feedback?

Cheryl
