Could someone please advise?

We are staying at the Polynesian and will have a car. I was wondering if it would be advisable to drive to BB and /or TL if we wanted to go to Epcot later in the day for a PS - OR is it better to rely on Disney transportation?

This is the only part of our trip that I am not sure about since we have never been to the waterparks.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!:D

If you go to BB, there is a bus there that will take you directly to Epcot. If you go to TL, there isn't. You'll need to go to a resort and change buses.

We always drive to the water parks since we can carry our stuff more easily. Plus most of the buses to the water parks go somewhere else either before or after. If you go, plan to be at the water park before it opens to get a good spot or go later in the afternoon. Both times we were there last week, the parks closed around 11 or 12 because they reached capacity.

After we spend four or five hours, we can head back to the resort to clean up before going to dinner.

If you go straight to Epcot, you'll have to lug your beach stuff with you into the park.

IMHO, the water parks have the easiest drive vs. bus decision - we always drive. We get there when we want, leave when we want and driving back wet is better in a car than a bus.

Thanks for the replies - I think we will just DRIVE - I think the wet butt thing pushed me over the edge! THANKS AGAIN!!

While I would much rather drive to the water parks, please keep our experience from two weeks ago in mind. If the parks reach capacity they will close to guests arriving by car but not by resort bus. We tried to enter both BB and TL aroung 11AM and were turned away from both due to capacity. The manager at the GF told us our UPH would only guarantee entry if we traveled by resort bus. We also witnessed several buses unloading at both parks while we were turned away.

Thanks asta - I will definately keep that in mind. We are going in late October so I hope the crowds will have thinned by then, but maybe we will take resort transportation the first time to guage the crowds. Thanks Again!
