Water park + Regular in One Day

Hi Everyone,

What do you guys think about visiting a water park in the 10-2:30, taking a break Back at POP, then heading to Epcot for dinner at 5:30 and spending the rest of the evening there.

I’ve been to Disney many times before and will be traveling with my wife, 3.5 year old, and 9 month old.

It's certainly doable. We typically add an evening at the parks after a day at the water parks.

I guess for me it depends on the incremental cost of the park ticket. I'm not sure I'd want to pay for an extra theme park day just to go for a few hours in the evening, particularly with young kids (mind never could stay up very late, even at WDW, but maybe yours are different). I guess maybe you have a longer ticket than I typically do so the extra day isn't as much of an add-on cost. But if it were me, I'd probably just go to Disney springs or a resort character meal instead to avoid the extra ticket cost.

Is this part of a multi-day trip and how you're considering spending 1 of your days?

If so, it will work and yes, Disney transportation will take you from: Pop > water park > Pop > Epcot. My only recommendation is to ensure the kids have some down time to rest as the water park will take a lot out of them. (Speaking from experience) You'll want to allow 45 mins to get back to Pop then that amount again to get to your dining at Epcot so the 3 hour break in the middle is now only about 90 mins at the resort.
