Can anyone tell me the current price of the refillable mugs in the water parks? Anyone have a pic? Thanks!

I don't have a pic but they are the shorter and fatter design, not the long skinny ones from the resorts.

We were there last week. A new mug was $9.99. We had our mugs from last year and I just checked my receipt and it was $6.93 with tax to reactivate the mug. This was on Wednesday last week.

I don't have a pic, and it won't let me insert one I found via google, but they are shorter and squatter than the resort mugs. Kind of remind me of jars with handles. :)

They were $10 with unlimited refills for that day. You could bring it back and get another day's refills for $5.

Wonder if you can buy one without going into the water park.

I LIKE the jug with a lid type of mugs (not for the car but for using in the house or while working at the computer) and would buy it as a souvenier not as an actual refillable.

If not then to be honest...I'm staying at WL during the construction and there has been talk of getting a WP ticket if you request one. I'd totally get the free ticket go in buy my mug then leave, maybe buy my mom some mini donuts...didn't I hear something about mini donuts? :rotfl2:

No, you can't get them outside of the water parks that I know of.

As far as I understand it, WL guests are NOT being offered the WP ticket - that was exclusive to the Poly guests. WL guests are free to use the CR and FW pools instead (I think).

Correct there is not an automatic offer. If not I might see if during our offsite trip (basketball tournament) any of the team is going to waterparks then get them to buy me one.

They are still pretty small, I don't think they hold much more than the resort mugs. They are just shaped a little differently.

Not sure if this is helpful, but everytime I go to Goodwill, I usually see them for sale there. I always bleach them when I get home and then feel OK using them.

I'm kinda skeeved out by second had cups and utensils :scared:....I'll have to evaluate after I go in July (offsite) and Oct (onsite).

Do you eat out at restaurants?

Yes and I look at my utensils and dinner ware :rotfl2: closely. I also wash glass ware in hotel rooms or I don't use it at all.

I don't try to reason with my brain, I just work within my own weird personality quirks.

Thank you all for the information. We will be there later this week and all of next week so I will definitely check into them. This will be a non-park trip for us so we're going to get the water park annual pass and go there a lot. I think the mugs might be worth it.

Have fun. They probably will be worth it if they are smaller and you're planning longer days at the waterparks.

You eat out at restaurants like the rest if us. 2nd hand cups and utensils, especially if you clean them yourself, is A OK.

Yes, the mini donuts are to die for!! Get at least two dozen!

Do they sell them at both? I used to love donuts, now I have a wheat (+dairy and egg) allergy so I avoid this kind of stuff 95% of the time. However I do occasionally fall off the wagon. Maybe I'll have to have 1. (like that ever worked when eating a donut :lmao: )

I've been looking at the mugs on google images. They are nice looking. So glad the OP brought up this subject. I don't buy many souvenirs so I'm kinda stoked to see something new that I'd like.
