I know walkways can get very hot in August. Does anyone know what the policies are about people wearing water sandals or water socks/shoes on water slides? Just don't want my nieces and nephews to get burnt feet!!!
The water parks even sell water shoes if you forget. Get them at home if you want to save any money. They also have water that sprays on the sidewalks to keep it cooler.
Most of the slides have rules about the shoes (as in, you can't wear them), but it's very easy to take them off at the top and hold them, even on Summit Plummet! Rides with tubes, you can usually keep them on. I highly recommend them -- my feet got very toasty without them!
We all wore those water shoes on all the slides, both tube and "fanny" ones! Noone ever asked us to remove them. This was at Typhoon Lagoon last week. Couldn't make it without them!
