We are going the end of Apr. We arrive at Disney hopefully around 10:00am. If we arrive to either of the water parks around 11:00 will it be insanely crowded or should we even bother? We have never been to the water parks so we wanted to give it a shot if it is not going to be a nightmare. Not sure what to do. :confused3 Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

We did this a few years back and the only problem I remember is that all of the chairs had already been staked out. People put their towels/clothes on them to reserve them first thing in the morning. But, the people who get there first thing, might be ready to leave by lunchtime, so the afternoon might not be as crowded as when you first get there. Also, people might be taking a break to eat lunch, so that might be a good time to hit the more popular attractions.

I doubt you'll have a problem!!! The water parks there are SO much fun! We went with our kids on our last trip but waited until our last day. We won't make that mistake again this next trip!!! We may just go every single day until late afternoon! It's just SOOOO fun, both my kids loved it!! I know you won't regret going! :thumbsup2

There is always something to do at the water parks. Like the previous poster said, the chairs might be gone, so you'll just have to claim a "spot" in the sand (or snow.) Even if the most popular rides have long lines, you can find something wonderful to entertain you and keep you cool.

Maybe we'll see you there. We will be there 4/19 - 4/26. :woohoo:

Enjoy!

You should not have a problem getting there at 11am. You might have to go around the back to a secluded area to find chairs. But otherwise you should be Ok.

Speaking of the water parks...

Are they open in November - and if they are, is it warm enough to go there?

thanks!

Been in October/Novemebr and it is warm rnough. (at least it was for us, but we are just to cold Belgium Weather, making any sunshine a "warm enough" moment for us)

That was my question, if October is warm enough.

We were looking at Typhoon Lagoon b/c we have DD8 and DS 5 and b/c of the height restrictions and the rides themselves. Any suggestions>

I can tell you all, from personal recent experience that October is HOT, HOT, HOT!!! Honestly, it was hotter in Oct. than when we went in July...no kidding! Only went the 1st 2 days in Nov. and it was very warm as well.

To OP, whatever time you get there, or however long you get to stay, just be sure to go. They are a BLAST!!!

We have annual Water Park Passes and go at least 3X per week on our trip. So much fun! We prefer TL to BB, but both have great attractions

Thanks for all your great advice. You all are great. Hope everyone has a great time on their upcoming trip- whether it is close or far away!!!

I'm thinking about doing the same thing. We arrive 10:30 am Mother's Day. After we eat lunch (Pepper Market, CSR) and relax a bit, I want to go over to Blizzard Beach. My thoughts are it's going to be Mother's Day so most Floridians will be at home celebrating their Mothers. People who arrive on Mother's Day I figure will go to the Signature restaurants to celebrate their Mother and then on to a park. While everyone's enjoying their mom's, I plan to have the lazy river to myself. :goodvibes I just hope my plan works.

BTW...I'm celebrating my mom that Saturday before I fly to Orlando and I'm single w/out any children.
