Water park on a Weekend a no-no?

If you had to go to TL on a weekend, which would you choose:

  • I'd go on Saturday to TL. It's better than Sunday.

  • I'd go on Sunday to TL. It's better than Saturday.

  • Either day is about the same.

  • I WOULDN'T go and you can't make me! THE CROWDS! THE INSANITY! AUUGGHHH!

Will it be dreadfully crowded on a Sat or Sun in mid August at the Water parks? After shuffling and re-shuffling our schedule around, we have BB on a Tuesday, but the only day to do TL is Sat or Sun. Is one of those days better than another? Whatever day is NOT chosen as a water park day will be a DTD / pool at resort day. PLease help!

We went to BB on Easter Sunday. WE have never been to a Disne Water Park before. So I don't know if it was considered crowded or not. I can tell you that we arrived around 11:00 and still was able to get a place in the shade with chairs. I believe the longest waite was maybe 15 min no more than 20. Hope this helps.

For those who voted against the wkend "insanity", any particular reason why (i.e. personal experience) ?

We went to BB on a Sunday in mid August and yes it was busy, but we still had one of our all time bast family days out. Get there early, do the flumes first and then just try to chill out and think how lucky you are to be making memories like this!!

We went to Blizzard Beach on a Sunday morning in late June and it did not become crowded until noon! We also went on a week day morning when they predicted rain and it was empty. By the time it started raining we were ready to leave any way.

If you HAVE to go to BB or TL on a Saturday/Sunday (not my first choice, but I will assume you have to in order to fit it in), sleep in and go about 4-5 hours before it closes. The majority of people get there early and are on their way out by 2 or 2:30. Expect a storm shortly before or after you arrive. If it storms after you get there, take cover and wait it out- then enjoy an empty park the rest of the day :)
