Water Park & More option

I am looking for some clarification on the Waterpark & More option.

We have purchased the 10 day park pass (no hoppers), we have added on the Water Park and more pass. I am in the process of organizing our park days and rest days. I thought I have read somewhere that if you add on the Water Park & more pass you can go to a waterpark then still go into (for example) AK for the evening still only using one day? Is that accurate? Or is this only if you have the park hopper added?

TIA just trying to figure all of this out.

Yes, that's true. You can go go to the water park and visit a main park on the same day without park hoppers. You can't go to more than one of the main parks without hoppers, however.
We usually hit a water park in the morning, have lunch, rest, then go to one of the main parks in the evening.

You get 10 park days and 10 fun visits to use within 14 days
If you go into a water park and AK on the same day, then you would have 9 park days and 9 fun visits remaining.

If you went to a water park in the AM and mini golf in the evening, you would have 8 fun visits and 10 park days remaining.

Best way to think of it is that you have two completely separate tickets. A 10 day ticket for the 4 main parks and a 10 day ticket to the water parks/etc... They're on your same account, but used individually. As noted above, you must use them within 10 days of first use...so you'll likely leave something "on the table". We always used the 10 main park days and left some water park on the table...though we did plenty too.
