Water Park Locker Question

Just wondering if i can pay for a locker using my magic band or if i have to bring the cash with me.

Although I think Magic Band payment requires you to buy a voucher in a nearby store, as the new machines only take credit cards :/

Did the water park lockers change? Or just the method of payment? I haven't been in years. Back then the only choice was renting a key at the store.

Yes, you now go to a kiosk (there's about 10 or so) where you are assigned a locker number, then you create a PIN.
You don't get a key, just punch in your PIN to access the locker

We were at Typhoon Lagoon the other day. Didn't use the locker but we have been thinking about it; the lockers near Shark Reef certainly did not have PINs or anything. Maybe they are out of order now that the system you describe is in place?

Maybe so. When I went to Typhoon last month I paid in the store with the magic band; pin was on receipt. No key. I remember because I had a truly frightening 10 minutes when I couldn't remember my locker number and couldn't find my receipt!

Definitely prefer it when a key with a number is assigned!

Thanks for your input, everyone! Ill be there soon and didnt want to be carrying cash with me. I think ill like this much better than dealing with a key. Id like it if someone could post step-by-step instructions for the kiosks and maybe even a picture. Id like to know what to do before i arrive. I like new experiences but sometimes they can make me a bit nervous. ☺ Also, do you get the option to pick your own pin?

That rubber band key fob was kind of a pain. Can't wait to see these on two weeks.
