Water Park Fun & More Option... help please?

Hi there,

I'm not sure if this is in the correct forum or not, sorry.


My boyfriend and I are probably going to Disney World the last week of August for 5 nights/days. We'd like to visit both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon once each (maybe more than once, but probably not!).

So, is getting the Water Park Fun & More Option worth it (if you get the option, are you able to visit both water parks?), or what would suit what we want?

With a 5 day pass, adding water park fun gives you four visits which you can use for both water parks, Disney Quest, Pleasure island in any order, repetition or combination.

Two visits, at least one of them not Pleasure Island clubs, and the water park fun option is worth it.

If you need five visits to the water park fun venues, you can pay two dollars more for a 6 day pass and add WPF to that even if you waste the sixth theme park day. A 7 day pass with WPF comes with six visits.

(Note that visiting two of the water park fun venues on the same day also consumes two visits whether or not your pass has hopping.)

Hmmmm, interesting.

We'll be going at the end of August, so I know the weather will be hot. That's why I'm saying we may want to do more than one visit each to the waterpark.

I don't know what Disney Quest and Pleasure Island are, and if they'd appeal to be and my boyfriend... so I'm still not sure on getting the WPF&M option.

Sorry to double post - but also, is a single admission to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon cheaper than getting the WPFAM option?

One admission to a water park will set you back about $40. So, if you're going to once to each park, you'd do much better to buy the water parks fun and more option for $50 to cover your two visits.

We're trying to decide whether or not to get the plu option too. We're getting a 7 day base ticket but would like to go to TL one day as well. Is it cheaper to get TL ticket seperately? Or should we get the plus that way when we go AK for the day and then we could go to DQ that night. I'm not sure if my kiddos would like DQ??? They'll be 7 and 3 1/2 when we go in may.

Look at it this way....

One admission to a water park is about $40. For about $10 more, you expand your touring capabilities quite a bit. I think DisneyQuest might be a bit above your 3.5 year old, but I think your 7 year old would probably have a blast.

I'm having this dilemma too! My bf and I have a 6 day Magic Your Way Park Hopper ticket, with Water Park Fun & More options.

So does that mean we have 5 visits to use, on either of the water parks and Pleasure Island? So for example, we can go to both water parks, and Pleasure Island 3 times?

We love the water parks and add the water parks and more option. Plus this year we're going to DisneyQuest (my sons are 8 and almost 6). For us the plus option is worth it.

Also, did you know that they are offering the dining package for free at the end of August?? If you stay onsite and take advantage of free dining then maybe you could splurge on the water park upgrade.

I am going with a group of adults in September and we are getting the plus add-on. We got it for our trip in December and it was totally worth it! We had fun at Pleasure Island and Disney Quest, along with a cold trip to Typhoon Lagoon.

Our logic is similar in that if it is miserable outside, we want to spend time at the waterparks and as many indoor locations as possible. If you don't like danicng, Pleasure Island still has the Adventurer's Club and the Comedy Club that are fun.

Along the same lines, do the plus options expire once all the park days are used on a non-expiring ticket? We bought 10 day, non-exp, plus tickets and used three park days last December. We're going back this weekend and will use 3-4 more park days. I'm not sure whether or not we'll go to a water park this trip. Do we need to use all 5 plus admissions before we use day #10 on our tickets?

Let's say you have a ticket with 5 plus admissions.

1.) The park hopping option does NOT extend to the plus admissions. If, on the same day, you visited Blizzard Beach, and Typhoon Lagoon - you'd have 3 plus admissions left.

2.) The non-expiration option DOES extend to the plus options. If you used up all of your days, but have plus admissions remaining, the plus admissions will never expire. Likewise, without the non-expiration option, you have 14 days from the first use of the ticket to finish using your plus options. Even if you've used up your park days, you can continue to use your plus options.
