We will be making a trip to WDW in October and although we have been to the World many times we are planning a trip to one of the water parks for the first time. My son (infantilespasms.com) is 6, walks but not always well, does use a wheelchair at times, good trunk control, and functions at about 1 year cognativly. I think he would very much like the water slides but would certainly need to be accompanied by parents or one of his sisters. Any opinions to which would be better for Broc? His sisters would prefer Blizzard Beach but would be very happy to do what is best for their brother. On a side note would it be possible to do both in a day without a lot of hassle?

The rides at TL are not as extreme as those at BB, and I think the landscaping is much better.

During October our hours will be 10:00 to 5:00. Normally a TL we do tend to open the gates 20-30 minutes early so people can get to the changing rooms, etc. and then will will hold an internal rope drop right at official opening.

If you have a car it is no problem at all. When you leave the TL parking lot you turn left at the light and stay on Buena Vista Drive for about five miles until you come to BB (which will be on your left). If you do not have a car you would have to change buses; we normally suggest to people they take the bus to Coronado Springs and change there as it is the most direct route. There are no buses from either water park directly to any other park (or the TTC).
