Water park crowds

Is it realistic to think that one could gain admission to a water park in early August in the middle of the day? Or are they maxed out?

I don't know from my own personal experience. However, check out this article from touringplans.com, just scroll a bit down when it starts mentioning the water parks. Looks like capicity closures are typically unlikely for the water parks ....

Yes you can get in at any time. We've been in July and August many times and have never been denied.
